Omnicom Media Group MENA has announced the appointment of Christian Fedorczuk as the CEO of PHD MENA, effective January 1. Based in Dubai, Fedorczuk will report to Elda Choucair, CEO of Omnicom Media Group MENA.
Fedorczuk brings over two decades of global leadership experience in the media and creative industries, having worked across four continents. Known for his transformative leadership style, he has a track record of integrating media, technology, and creative production disciplines. His appointment aligns with the company’s ambitions for regional growth and innovation.
Elda Choucair expressed her confidence in Fedorczuk, stating, “Christian is a multi-faceted individual—structured, innovative, well-traveled, and deeply people-oriented. He embodies the balance of effectiveness and creativity that defines PHD. I am thrilled to bring him back to lead our next phase of growth.”
Fedorczuk began his career at OMD in Vienna and has since led agencies in London, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. He has collaborated with renowned brands and networks, including adidas, Red Bull, LVMH, and Apple, through roles at Omnicom Media Group, Dentsu, and IPG. Most recently, he co-founded a creative studio and production company in Tokyo’s Harajuku district, focusing on both global icons and grassroots culture brands.
Reflecting on his appointment, Fedorczuk said, “The incredible growth of PHD in MENA over the past 15 years is a testament to the talent and competitive drive Elda has cultivated. The region has evolved significantly since my last stint, yet its ambition remains unmatched. At PHD, we have the chance to lead the next phase of growth with our ‘Intelligence Connected’ platform, and I’m eager to bring this to more brands in the market.”
Fedorczuk’s return to the Middle East is a homecoming of sorts. Between 2007 and 2010, he played a pivotal role in Omnicom Media Group Dubai’s growth, gaining valuable insights into the region’s dynamic market and forging lasting relationships.
In addition to Fedorczuk’s appointment, PHD MENA announced other leadership updates. Karen Doumet, instrumental in PHD’s recent success, will step into the role of Regional Managing Director for MENA across all disciplines. Meanwhile, Daniel Shepherd will assume the position of Chief Strategy Officer at Omnicom Media Group, reporting directly to the Group CEO. These appointments reflect the organization’s commitment to fostering talent and driving sustainable growth across the region.
